Coordinates are worked out automatically, in your browser. You print the codebook for your trusted person — only the encrypted coordinates are ever sent to us, never your secret or codebook.
You print a blank codebook template, fill all 100 cells by hand — one digit per cell (or one character, for passwords) — then look up each coordinate yourself and type it in. Your codebook and secret never touch a computer: the most paranoid option, and the most manual.

Your seed phrase
deadkey.net cannot generate or see your seed phrase — for a crypto wallet, tin foil hat mode is the only option. You build a word grid by hand, on paper, then type in only the coordinates below. Your seed words never touch this page in any form.
This protects real funds
A seed phrase is the master key to your wallet. Whoever ends up holding your words — your trusted person, once they trigger and the countdown ends — has full control of the funds inside it, the same as you do today. Only ever hand your word grid to someone you would trust with the money itself. The word grid does not make your seed phrase harder to guess — it only changes who can read it, the same as the numeric and character codebooks.

Backup trusted people add resilience — if one loses their paper or is unreachable, others can still trigger the deadkey. They do not add cryptographic security. Any single trusted person who triggers, and waits out the countdown, receives the coordinates deadkey.net stored for this record. Combined with their codebook, that is enough to recover your secret. Pick people you trust equally.
